I like U2 but I wish Bono wasn't such a blow hard douche. I try to look past that and enjoy their music tho.

I can tell that it was unexpected. I saw the news about a U2 album and thought that they had announced a date. Then I read the part that said available now. Looking forward to listening to it tonight.

I've followed the iTunes directions for download on both my phone and tablet and the album doesn't "show up" in my library as they stated it would. Anyone have a similar experience?

4 stars - nice work from the lads

An immediate standout track is Volcano, a thrilling, thumping yet delightfully quirky celebration of the power of rock and roll that sounds a bit like Franz Ferdinand on steroids

Heres how to download.

Go to "Settings app" scroll to "music" and make sure that "Show all music" is on.

Go to the iTunes app, it only works on your phone and go to the "More" tab. Click on "Purchased" Click on "music". Now go to "Various" and there they are. For some reason it is not under "U2"

The first 2 things I thought of were Coldplay and the Killers while listening to a couple of clips. If that's what they were after, they nailed it.

That's what I got from the album. It's good. Not the best in the world, but one of their better ones. I like the new sound though.
