Watch Vlad Guerrero's 15 year old son smash a baseball

No batting gloves. That swing. The apple, or baseball in this case, doesn’t fall far from the tree. By the way, the description of the video (written by Matthew Ball) says that he’s already listed at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds. Not your average 15-year-old. Guerrero won’t be eligible to sign with a major league team until next summer, but he has already worked out for Yankees, Angels, and Blue Jays.
While Vlad’s son looks promising, we could hear from his nephew, Gabriel Guerrero, even sooner. The 20-year-old outfielder hit .307/.347/.467 with 18 home runs, 96 RBI, and 18 stolen bases over 131 games this season with High-A High Desert and participated in this July’s Futures Game.

Wonder how big that field is? Sure did crush a lot out. With a wooden bat too.

Two things:
1. Looks like the Sandlot? lol
2. If that is Guerrero's son, why is he playing baseball on what looks to be a third world field? Dont you think he could get his son into a much better facility with all of his money?

Eh. Opens the door for raising a spoiled, privileged kid. As long as hes safe, I doubt Vlad cares much. And I'm sure Vlad grew up playing on the same kinda fields. Maybe he wants his kids to be grounded and down to earth about the process.
Just speculating.

Vlad was one of my favorite players of all time to watch. I would enjoy seeing another one in the league at some point.

I enjoyed watching Vlad mainly because the man was always smiling. Really seemed to enjoy the game and appreciative of the opportunities he earned.
