yeah, I feel that helped, but the NFL pressers aren't looking too hip hop.

Stern ruled it with an iron fist. That included the owners too.

Goodell is the owner's pawn.

I'm guessing the NFLPA is probably stronger than the NBA too

I was thinking the same thing this morning. The NBA has come a long way.

The NBA really got the players involved with the local communities too.

I agree, but I think players are more savvy in marketing themselves. Lebron knows dressing like a hood rat isn't selling too much Gatorade or nike...the NFL isn't really conducive to self promotion on the field.

The superstars of todays NBA are, for the most part, good people/role models

Well, they did. I don't know if there's a simple answer, but Stern somehow pulled it off without everyone calling him a racist. He's a smart man

it is also easier for the NBA to clean itself up because it has a lot less players than the NFL

the NFL has like 5x the amount of players as the NBA

more chances for headcases

I really think it started to change around 2001 when Brian Scalabrine came into the league.

Because right now, the NFL has a lot of TPOS.

Doesn't the NFL have the lowest arrest rate of the 3 major sports?
