Have a timeshare week that I need to use up before end of the year and was thinking of going on a fall trip to the beach down south late October or early november, only question is where. Options we are looking at are Cabo san Lucas, Yucatan-Cozumel, or Aruba. More interested in the over all areas right now than picking a specific property.

I know for a fact that Gatlinburg is a HIGHLY popular Thanksgiving destination with LSU fans. We were there last year at that time and there were so many LSU fans there I started to wonder if there was some sort of LSU alumni convention going on.

Don't know about that... We got married there in between duty stations. Not a bad place at all.

All the pancakes, taffy and rock candy you can shove into your air-brushed-NASCAR-shirt-covered beer belly.

Don't forget all the dinner shows, Ripleys museums and go cart towers that you could ever dream of.

If you're tired of gatlinburg, you could always try pigeon forge. It requires its own trip. There's just too many attractions that you can't afford to miss.
