At least the last did not lose the game, since it would have just put it into OT.

Last year's Auburn/Alabama game and then when John Carney missed the extra point after the River City Relay in Jacksonville.

(Why is it called the River City Relay when it was actually in Jacksonville?)

River City is one of Jacksonville's nicknames

To me, the Prayer at Jordan Hare was more WTF than the Kick 6. Because AU had no business completing that pass and it set up the Kick 6. IF that makes sense?

2013 Iron Bowl.

I paid off a security guard to let me in right before kick. I was dumbfounded when I saw the damn thing happen. I've been to a lot of games, and will go to a lot more. Don't know if I'll ever see something like that again.

The sheer absurdity of it somehow lessened the sting for me.

John Carney was the first thing that came to mind. Didn't he have the NFL record for consecutive XPs made until that point? That is the kind of shite that seemed to only happen to the Saints.

I think I'm wrong about the record, but regardless it was crazy that something so rare (a missed XP) happened after one of the craziest plays to end a game in NFL history

Kind of agree, it was more ridiculous. That said, that Auburn had a legendary moment 2 weeks before the Kick 6 made the Kick 6 that much more insane.

And then Boise State missing that chip shot field goal against Nevada a few years ago to lose the game and their undefeated season.

ETA: Honorable mention from a different sport... That Detroit Tigers pitcher losing his perfect game on that blown call at 1st base.
