What year/game was it when Bobby Hebert, playing for Atlanta, ran around celebrating a TD against the Saints with his arms stretched out sideways like an airplane? My memory tells me it was a night playoff game in the Georgia Dome, but Pro Football Reference is not backing me up on this. Anyone know?

We never played them in the playoffs in Atlanta. We played them in the dome in the playoffs in 1991, but Bobby was our QB that year. You're probably thinking about 1993 when they beat us in the dome in a regular season game.

Is there any chance that it was Chris Miller the QB for Atlanta in 1991 who did the flying like a Falcon thing during that playoff game? I thought it was Hebert but could be wrong.

It was in THIS GAME

It was in the Superdome.

I was there and it is a fact.

So you saw him in person doing the "fly like a falcon" celebration?

Did this loss keep the Saints out of the playoffs? Maybe that's why my childhood memory remembers it as a playoff game.

Yes. It was on TV too.

It was not a playoff game. It was in October. It was not a playoff game. It was the year that they started 5-0 but finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs. This win dropped them to 5-2 but it was a gut-punch. I think they missed the playoffs by a game so if you want to say this win kept them out of the playoffs, it's a possibility but they could have won lots of games they lost that year.

I was there too. Atlanta had Mike Pritchard/Tony Smith/Michael Haynes/Andre Rison/Primetime/Steve Broussard, probably forgetting a few ?
