We need to run the ball at least 30 times a game.

When will Payton realize the only way we will go far this season is running to help the pass game. We have the running backs to be successful

It doesn't matter if we don't have a defense

Running was not the issue today and neither was passing the ball. Our offense was fine. Other than 1-2 drives we did whatever we wanted.

I did want to see us run more on the drive where we were behind about to take the lead to keep it out of Atlanta's possession. I knew they'd score for OT and they did. Defense is awful.

Agreed.

Compare 09 run / pass ratio to any other year under Payton. He's his own worst enemy.

Nope. Our offense has been "fine" since 2006. We can't be "fine", we need to be efficient, smart, and dominant.

Unless you're happy with a 1st round playoff exit, because that's what we've averaged under Payton/Brees.

We put up 34 points today on 472 yards of offense. I'm not too worried about the offense.

Against one of the worst defenses in the NFL in a dome with a 13-0 head start. No team in the league should be able to "catch" us from that jumping off point.

if we still score is the key point. Peyton seems more interested in getting 1st downs and scoring points than running the ball for some oddball reason.

This loss has nothing really to do with offense.
