This was Atl's Superbowl

Although it's only the first game, after last season they needed this game for their confidence for the rest of the season. They played with so much emotion.
I'm not that mad actually. We're better than them, and they know it. We'll beat them by 2 TD's in the dome.
The defense played horribly, but we can't be that bad. We have basically the same team from last year only with good additions. They'll get better. Not to mention Atlanta really has a good offense when fully healthy. Last year wasn't a good barometer for them IMO.
I think we win at least 11 games this season. Maybe not home field advantage worthy, but we'll be in the playoffs.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. But yes it is the NFL, any team can win any given week, and 1 game has much less significance. I'm not gonna overreact like the majority of people here over one game.

That was Atlanta's season saver. They won a important game that will spring their asses to a string of good luck like every year they weasel out a win against us.

Well, Atlanta played like the game meant more to them for sure. They out played, out worked, out hustled the Saints all day. The fact the Saints defense just bent over and took it really bothers me. If you can't get up for that game, what's going to get you going? Money don't do it (see Junior), expectations don't do it, division rival urinating on you don't do it, what's left? Certainly not pride or professionalism of which they showed none.

With the way our defense played today, we were definitely not the better team.

If the Saints do not earn home field advantage this year, being in the playoffs won't really matter.
