Anthony Jennings = Chris Leak ?

Not great at anything, but solid all-around. Pretty smart guy who knows when to throw it away. Can make solid deep throws and has an adequate arm. Can be a run threat, but is more of a traditional QB than a runner. Can play the "game manager" role also.
Harris's arm and legs are not to be overlooked, but as an alternate, he is strong also, and will get his share of time to compliment Jennings. Like Leak's back-up, Tebow, many fans will crave to see Harris in the line-up also, but Jennings has more time in the system to also serve the protect-the-ball game-manager role.
It is not a perfect compare, but could turn out to be decent.

the Flynn/ Mauck comparisons are more apt. Leak was a pretty polished passer from day 1, and didn't really want to or look to run until Urban came with the spread option.

The tone of the OP is hilarious. Chris Leak not only broke many of Danny W's passing records, he won a National Title and learned 3 different offenses under 2 different coaches during his time at UF.

Protects the ball better? Wtf does that even mean not to mention both those won nattys and Jennings has won 3 games. Wtf. But I actually like Chris leak comparison a little. The deep ball looks nice coming out of Jennings hand

I am watching the game now. First three drives look good. Jennings looks great. Open up nice deep pass TD. Next drive pound pound pass pound pass TD. Looked good. Third possession the same. Nice 1st down scramble. LF TD with a bad pose. Not bad so far.

Chris Leak was 1 of the most accurate passers ever. He could really read offenses. When they wanted to run they brought in Tebow. Bad comparison
