Been slacking lately but I should get on em Sat. Going to Avoyelles Parish Friday and gonna be a good one. I hope!

It was truly a special hunt. It was the first time that me, my brother, and our good friend got together after losing a 21 year old friend/roommate 1 week before the season started (who loved the outdoors more than anything in the world and was supposed to be in our lease). The weather was gorgeous and the pintail drake came first (buddy's), then the mallard (mine). I always said I was cursed when it came to bands- I couldn't believe it when I took the bird from the dogs mouth, just minutes after picking up a banded sprig. I think we finished with 6 pintail, 5 mallards, and some snows. I'd be lying if I said we didn't tear up while taking pictures. I'll post the certificate when I post my pictures for the contest

Haven't had a computer all season, my laptop got stolen and I just got a new one yesterday and I'm not posting all of that via mobile. Hardass

Not going down without a fight. Went to the Anahuac, TX marsh. Fricking teal everywhere. We were done with 3 limits in 20 minutes. We had 2 birds that the dog could not get so we went to go get the boat and by the time we got to them there was nothing but a carcass after a hawk had breakfast..... So we counted those 2 against our limit and walked out with 16 between 3 hunters.
