Posted on the OT, but thought I may get some good responses here...

I am looking to add a detached pool house which would tie-in to my existing house roof. Already have the layout done. Looking for recommendations on a building contractors in the Baton Rouge area. Any names?

Budget might help someone give a better recommendation. If you are looking for a high end build or a budget build can make a difference in you someone will recommend...

It's a pretty simple layout. I would say middle of the road. I probably won't do stock cabinets but they don't need to have an intricate design either. It's about 650 ft2. I'd like to keep it under 50k.

does this include any outdoor kitchen equipment? Depending on equipment and brands this could be 8-20K. Also fireplaces are not cheap, I would say about 8-10k for that.

I don't mean to be a dick here.....

Every time I see your screen name, my heart sinks a bit. The "El J" portion of your screen name has a special meaning to it around these parts.

Sorry for my rant and good luck on your search.

Thanks. I didn't know Jason but my wife knew him and his wife. Speaks highly of them-shame I never got to meet him.
