Catholic vs Parkview.

1st play from scrimmage for Catholic, Guice 52 yard TD. And it was a great run.

Broke 1 tackle, got to the edge, spin move, and was gone.

What a run. Hit in the backfield and still took it to the house

You can tell Guice has added some muscle and mass. Looks great.

3rd carry for Guice... 58 yard TD.

So 3 carries about 110yards and 2 TDs.

What was that? About a 30yard TD catch? Broke about 5 tackles.

Damn... Penalty called it back.

I have the 1996 highlight film for CHS. It is amazing watching Minor score 48 touchdowns that year and rush for over 3,000 yards.

But that means one carry was for no gain. Pass

That team went 4 deep at the tailback position in terms of future 1A college football players. Minor went to FSU. Fellow senior and backup Aaron Boone went to Clemson. Shanklin, a junior, went to Kentucky (transferred to Grambling eventually). Hatch, a sophomore, went to Georgia Tech. And of course Major Applewhite was the senior QB and went to UT-Austin.

One play, Minor ran a 66 yard TD but it got called back for holding, so they put in Boone. The very next play Boone ran 66 yards for a TD on the exact same play.

He reminds me of Cadillac Williams. Similar size and stature, but their running styles are what is so similar to me. Power, speed, great cuts and vision, and seem to bounce off defenders like a pinball out there.

There is Guice. Wow. 20yard TD run. Broke a tackle, and switched field and was gone.

So he's got about 6 carries, 135yards, 3 TDs.

Not on Cox 4 in Nola. It's West Jeff and Destrehan here. What quarter is the Catholic game in?
