Why do you think Miles played LF so early

Is it because of not enough depth with experienced running backs this year, just wondering because it took miles a few games before he put Hill in as a freshman

Because he's a rare talent and good enough to get on the field now. Our best receiving back already.
Same reason TM7 and Reid were put on the field in his first game.

That team had Ware, Ford, Blue, and Hilliard on it. Not to mention that Magee had been converted to WR. Plus Blue and Hilliard got off to a great start until Blue was injured.

2) He will be gone after 3, so lets get some use out of him and get him developed.

Hill went an entire year not playing any football before getting to LSU.

Fournette is going to be at LSU 3 years, you might as well start acclimating him to the college game early.
Every game he doesn't contribute is a wasted game.

Why did we play other true freshman so early? Because they are good enough to see the field.

I think LF did a great job as a kick returner, just seemed like Miles would of waited a bit before getting him out there, but guess it's a good thing, What baggage did Hill have? Don't know if that was serious or joke about baggage

Because Hilliard and Magee alone are not enough to at least challenge for the sec west. Fournette is physically college ready as freshman to run physically, and with speed. He is getting him adjusted to the game now with reps so he will be comfortable and a force before mid season. Before this season is over, I think Darrell Williams will play a role as well.
