I doubt that Iran or Israel would ever take any kind of help from each other no matter how dire their straits.
However, Iran is a lot less anti-American than the U.S. is ani-Iranian, so I don't see what's surprising about Iran offering to work with us. Remember, Iran was very helpful to us after 9/11, both symbolically and substantively, and they also offered us humanitarian aid after Katrina, which W rejected. Conversely, Iran accepted humanitarian aid from us after Qom was hit with a devestating earthquake.

Trackfan, I was talking tongue in cheek. No way could Iran enlist Israel's help publicly. That's like Assad asking Bibi to blow away ISIS.

I am sure they would like Israel's info and intelligence but as they said in Blazing Saddles, I am sure Israel will have the good taste never to mention their cooperation.
