Possible collusion going on in my league?

League manager and one of his friends just made this trade
League Manager: Gives Pierre Thomas and Steven Smith
Friend: Gives Eddie Lacy and Victor Cruz
Does this trade look fishy, or is this an actual fair trade?

I have a league where the commish made it first come first serve with the draft slots, then we protested, he doesn't know that the ESPN app told me it was still manually set after he supposedly did random...surprise, guess who got the #1 pick. I won another league with him last year, so I'm guessing that's why I got the last pick

Lacy's concussion problem is probably causing the guy to panic. I dont think people are colluding at this point in the season.

People are talking about Pierre breaking the record for receptions by a RB. If this is a PPR league, maybe the guy read that and really likes Thomas.
I would just ask the owners what is it up with the deal and what is their motivation?

Then why not draft him?
Lacy might have a concussion. No one's stock could fall that far unless Lacy is reported out for months. The Cruz-Steve Smith swap makes it even worse.

Yeah the Cruz and Smith part is what makes this deal suspect. Or commish's friend isn't very football savvy...
