What time does the free parking lots fill up?

Cant tailgate this year. Trying to form a gameplan on how to drop off rug rat and get to the game before kickoff.

Parking at frat/sorority houses is free and will not fill up until the afternoon for this game

I used to park fairly late arriving to the game near the rec center or by the lawn and garden center off parker . Does this area fill up early now?

Big game, 9:00 am at latest.
Crappy game, Noon to 1:00 pm.

I'm guessing earlier because folks can't park on Nicholson this year. If it rains a lot they may end up closing the grass lots, putting even more pressure on the gravel or free paved lots.

The CATS shuttle buses start running from L'Auberge 3 hours prior to kickoff. The cost is $10 round trip. I know people who used it last year and they were happy with it, so this might be an option for someone who is coming to campus later in the day.

What's the best bet for parking if arriving around noon? Free would be best, but otherwise I'll be looking for whatever is the most affordable.

If coming late id try the Kirby lot then if nothing there maybe pay for one of the houses around there that rope off their yard. I'm just thinking they will fill early for the first game and because no parking on Nicholson.

Just be careful with this option for the return trip. With the new contraflow plan, I've heard that they will only be able to make one trip from campus to the casino after the game.

You may not be able to get tickets for the shuttle because there are only going to be 1000 available.
