I'm not thinking anything crazy like that so don't worry but I feel like I am depressed.. I have tons of things goin for me.. A good/decent job.. Moving into an apt in less than 2 weeks.. Brand new jeep.. Good friends (no gf or possible interest) at this time.. All I seem to meet are shitty girls.. I generally have a very positive outlook on life and do my best to have a positive outlook at life

I just feel like I'm not where I should be.. I want more but never seem to get it.. Haven't had a gf in 5 years but it's only because I'm extremely picky on who I date.. I feel like I'm missing out on life

I just imagined life after college would be different.. I'm thinking about picking up a second job to kill time/meet new people.. I've said make small changes in ur life and it will help your situation.. I don't know I've talked to friends and they say they are in the same boat.. I feel like I was ment to do more

What do y'all think

sadness is a state of mind, depression is forever.

you just sound unfulfilled. do something you'd never think you'd do. you'll have fun. stop comparing your life to your expectations from the past. you'll never be happy that way.

What do you think will make you happy? Maybe you should have bought a nicer Jeep?

You weren't. Not everyone is special. Deal with it.

Depression is way more intense

It sounds like you want a relationship and that it is a void you think needs to be filled to be happy. Hang in there man, she will come at the right time.
