Anyone have any information on how to get a membership to be able to use the landing. Anyone fish there?

My buddy has a membership. I think it's like $300 or so. I fished him there many times. We normally do good with the bass and reds in the spring/summer and specs in the winter. That's all I know I'll try to get some info

It's $400 a year and runs from 9/1 - 8/31. I just renewed mine for the 3rd year. I think I have the phone number at home but definitely have the mailing address. I'll look after I get home from work.

$400 per year to use the road and boat landing.
If you give me your email address I can give you the land manager's phone #.

Get used to it. I know Bassons tinkered with the idea as well. I expect to see it more and more.

What makes it worth it? Are there just no other landings close by? That's a good chunk to launch a boat.

All the Marsh is private. You're paying to launch and fish the Marsh.

Closest launch is Laffite..... Its a long drive and boat ride. Its just great brackish water fishing.

It is complete bullshite is what it is!!! The clovelly launch was built, maintained, and improved with taxpayer funding and the road was improved and maintained for many years at tax payer expense. Clovelly farms decided to extort Lafourche parish with an extremely high access lease and the parish couldnt pay. So they closed access and the launch remains.
I have spoken to several councilmen and voiced my opinion that if the public cannot use a launch built with public money then it needs to be removed.
They keep telling me they are working on a lease but I won't hold my breath.

There's no other convenient way to access the area (clovelly/loop). You can come from lafitte or larose but those are both looonnngggg runs. And yes, there are some private areas as well.

$400 isn't bad if you fish a lot.

But I agree, ain't no fish back there.
