Not much. He's better driving to at least downtown or send him to Teddy's Juke Joint for some soul food.

You could always hit up the Texaco station for a meat pie.

If he goes up to Baker, he can get free banana moonpies at the local shoot-n-loot.

Did someone really say Sammy's?

How about some Delpit's or Cafe Express?

Does he have to stay near the airport or is he staying in the city? What area matters a little unless he has a rental. Or can work the uber machine.

Tell him to get a plate from Tony's Seafood and just eat in the parking lot.

No. Just No.

Since Boutin's is right across the street from the airport I would start there. Then, drive to downtown or corporate. Then, drive to NOLA. Finally, I would starve or get back on the plane before eating at Don's.

Please disregard the above post since its apparent the Doctor pushed on his soft spot on his head as a kid.

Don's has the best gumbo and crawfish bisque in town.

I stopped by there a few days ago. Duke is no longer the owner. Fam gave him the boot/ bought him out because they wanted to start buying gumbo's and other items in bulk from a NO vendor. It won't be the same.

Assuming you mean seafood gumbo. Maybe it is, I don't hit up seafood gumbo very often.

Jambalaya Shoppe's do the best gumbo out there.
