my little girl likes to watch the CMT countdown on saturdays, and while watching with her, it occured to me that every one of the bro country/country rap artist on the countdown where either from florida, south Georgia or the carolinas. what the hell is up over on the east coast?

examples
Luke Bryan- ga
aldean- ga
Florida Georgia line - fl/ga
lee brice - south carolina
colt ford - ga
jake owen - fl
cole swindel- ga
brantley gilbert- ga
chase rice- north carolina
sam hunt - ga
parmalee - north carolina

They got a lot of red dirt, unpaved roads, beer, and trashy loose women, and apparently the lower middle class thinks those things are cool so they jam the frick out to it. That's what's up over on the east coast.

That shite is awful. I would rather pay money to be kicked in the nuts, than listen to bro country.

While I agree that most/all of those artists or groups produce forgettable, Nashville-pop shite, I do like me some Florida Georgia Line.

The lyrics to the song "Dirt" actually contain some substance.

"you know you came from it, and someday you'll return to it"

I'd definitely put that as a quote on my MySpace page if I were you
