Tennessee man gassed by SWAT after his stepson catches him masturbating

A fight involving baseball bats after a stepson allegedly witnessed his stepfather performing a sexual act in the yard ended with the local SWAT team dispersing a non-lethal gas to arrest the stepfather Sunday in Dickson, according to police.

Dickson Police officer Scott Hull responded to the call about the fight involving the stepfather, Reeve Brady, and the stepson in the 100 block of Masonic Street in Dickson, near Dickson Middle School at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday. Reportedly, the two men were fighting with baseball bats.

The name of the stepson – the alleged victim – is not being released by Dickson police at this time since the case is still under investigation, said police Lt. Todd Christian.

"The stepson said he caught (Brady) masturbating in the backyard and told him to get out," Hull said. "Then the bats started swinging."

Just before Hull arrived, Brady barricaded himself in the basement, Hull said.

"We tried to talk to him," Hull said. "We could see him in there. He knew we were outside and he was armed with a knife."

The Dickson officers on scene called the Dickson County SWAT squad, which dispersed a gas to "take him out without incident," Hull said.
