Harvested this mythical beast this morning. 4 lines set yesterday - 2 lines still up, 1 line down with no gator and no bait and this line was about 50ft away from it.

Measured out right at 9ft with a chunk of tail missing.

Line was wrapped twice around a cypress and the gator was just laying in about 2ft of water. Poled the boat around to the back and dome clapped it with a few .22lr in the quarta sized kill spot.

It was a major bitch getting it rolled over into the boat. Nerves had it still flopping and kicking, scared the shite out of me.

Still have one more tag to fill.

Thanks guys It was definately an experience.

Hey web I pumped about 8 shots into that bastard by the time I was done though I didnt want to take any chances.

This is from Caddo Lake in NWLA. I know there are bigger ones there, hoping to get one this weekend.

There were a few guys at the buyer from Cross Lake that had 2 7ft gators also.
