WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Glenn Beck may not want to vote for Hillary Clinton, but he is convinced that she will win the presidency in 2016.

Beck, the conservative radio and television host, used part of his radio show on Tuesday to talk about the prospect of Clinton running for president and why, if she does, she "will be the next president of the United States."

"She is going to win," Beck said, matter-of-factly, because Clinton will convince voters that she is the candidate that can take the United States back to "the golden years" of Bill Clinton's administration.

Beck said, "Here's what Hillary is going to do. [She will say] 'Do you remember when America was good? Do you remember when we had jobs and we were building towards a brighter future, and things were really happening? Clinton administration, we had it under control. Things were good, and they weren't great, we're going to do better. We're going to replant our flag in the traditional things that you understand.'"

Beck also knocked Republicans, telling viewers that the party will be unable to combat this message.

"We can talk about Ronald Reagan all we want, [but] nobody remembers Ronald Reagan. It was too long ago," Beck said. "The Clinton years are the golden years."

Beck added: "While we [Republicans] are talking about technicalities and the past, they are going to be talking about a past that was brightly remembered and they will talk about the America we will become. She will win."

She won't be able to get away from Obama's incompetence and her four years as SoS. No one tied to Obama is going to have a chance to do anything, IMO.

I've been saying this for several years.

Her leaving SoS was the beginning of her distancing herself from BO and once she's in full campaign mode, she's going to be running on that 3rd way, blue dog platform which will appeal to a lot of moderates in both parties.

She has a likeability problem in that the more people see of her, the less they like her. I would he surprised if she gets the nomination. She's not Bill.

Interesting observations. Thanks for adding. However, I have to agree with the808bass, she has a tremendous likeability problem to overcome. Not sure if she has the charm and the grace to do it. As you are aware, she is no Bill Clinton (the loveable rogue).

She's a walking, talking stroke waiting to happen. I don't think she can take the rigors of being on the campaign trail health wise.

If Hillary gets the nomination, I would have to agree with Beck.

I agree with his reasoning, plus other factors.

People have short memories, and most can be swayed by sweet-sounding rhetoric. All Hillary needs to do is hire the best speech writer she can get, and the rest will take care of itself. America's youth are growing up and becoming a larger part of the voting demographic.

The under-35's will vote in droves for her. Shite, I bet the female participation rate would be in the 70's with 80-90% voting for HRC.

The young Libertarian movement could probably get on board with Hillary as well if the R's nominate a weak candidate.

I would agree, but in my experience, the young Libertarians have a very similar social agenda to the D's.

The 2012 election has taught us that young voters care more about social issues than economic or foreign policy issues.

When push comes to shove, they'll vote for a pro-choice, pro-gay marriage female before an establishment male R or a male Libertarian candidate who is a major long-shot to win the presidency.

I honestly think this likeability problem is mostly a myth perpetuated by the people who wont be voting for her anyway.

I don't think she's as polarizing as Sean Hannity makes her out to be

I agree. I feel like the people saying this are the same ones saying that Obama wouldn't get re-elected.

yea but for right or wrong, if Hillary campaigns on her being the next Clinton who will bring the prosperity/economic growth of the 90's back, that will appeal to a lot of people

Agree again. That's why I said I agree with Beck's reasoning, plus other factors.

I would love to agree. Unfortunately it will be the same people who "changed the world" and "promoted progress" by voting in a black president who will do the same to be a part of "promoting progress" by voting in a woman. It will not be about policies, rather gender.

Likeability isn't a polarizing thing. I agree that she's not a polarizing candidate. That doesn't change her personality problem. She couldn't win the nomination last time. What makes you think she can win it this time?
