My son just informed me that his highschool coach turned down a donation from a parent on the ball team because he was a gunsmith. If you donate they put your business ad on a board at the ball field. Told him they could not put his business up because the logo had a gun on it. Kind of pissed me off. Will be talking to the coach later.

You can talk to the coach later all you want but it's probably out of his hands. I can imagine the school district would shut down any ad with a gun on it regardless of the donation.

The school is a gun free zone though.

This high school also has a ROTC shooting team that has received college scholorship in the past.

The sign posted at every entrance declaring this school a gun free zone has a big picture of a gun on it. It is a wonder that sign hasn't shot two or three kids by now.

That's exactly why it's ironic.
Now you're thinking little buddy.
