Help me decide on a new vehicle

I'm in the market for a gas-efficient vehicle. I don't want to spend more than $15k as I will only use it to drive back and forth to work. The truck is burning way too much gas
I've narrowed it down to the following;
2008-2012 Honda Accord 4 cylinder (only because the transmissions don't like the v6)
2012 Ford Fusion
2012 or 13 Hyundai Sonata
2011 Camry.
I've found decent deals on all vehicles <$15k with under 100k miles.
Any insight would be appreciated

I think a stripped brand new Mazda 3 can be had around $15k. That'd be my choice.
A used Toyota is always a good choice although they don't cost much less than a new one.
If you don't drive very far, look older and cheaper.

I had a ford fusion rental not long ago and it SUCKEDDDDDD.
Also had a Nissan sentra. Equally sucky.

Sonata. You will get the good gas mileage plus extra amenities you wouldn't get in the others. Not to mention the warranty.

Screw all those models you listed.
Instead:
You need to hurry up and get on the list, however.

What sucked about the fusion?

I bet if you do the math keeping an extra vehicle is more expensive than just driving the truck.

Actually I think it was a focus....
The nicest cheap rental I've had was a Chevy cruze. Didn't have much power at all but was a little bigger than the others and wasn't bad to drive.
I'd get a Toyota or Mazda 3 with a manual transmission. I went through the same thing a few months ago and drove a pile of cars. I ended up with a Volkswagen diesel, but #2 was a brand new Mazda 3. I think I got quoted $16k for one before negotiations. It wasn't as nice as the yotas but it was a good bit cheaper.

There's no doubt it would. The advantage is in going longer without buying a new truck.
I drive 150+ miles a day and at 52mpg, I still don't come out ahead by much.

Get the Toyota. It's the most dependable and when your ready to move on you'll get a little coin back. I've been looking for one with high miles and they still hold tremendous value.

It was a hatchback. Whatever one that is.

Get the Fusion or Sonata.

Hatchbacks are awesome. I want the Subaru Crosstek (sp?).

Manual transmission Fusion. I wouldn't buy another Camry, and I probably wouldn't pay for an Accord either.

Accord or Camry
Worst on your list is the Sonata. I drove one for a few months and hated that car. It just has a horrible steering feel.
