Duh.. of course its Rodgers.
HOLD IT right there. Dallas gave up the most fantasy points to QBs last year and Seattle gave up the fewest. GB is at Seattle as well.
Seriously considering Kap... and it looks like Matthew Berry agrees with me.

What round did you draft Rodgers in?

Start kap.....sounds like you already got your mind made up.

Just looking for other opinions. I obviously drafted Kap to cover in case of injury and the bye week, but then I hadn't looked at the schedule for week one until this morning.

Honest question and im not trying to be a dick.
Why draft a QB in the 2nd, to then draft a backup and not start your second round pick week 1?

Always start your studs.
Always start your studs.
Always start your studs.
Always start your studs.
Always start your studs.
Always start your studs.
Always start your studs.

I think this is an extremely rare situation where the match up begs the question.

That depends...if it's 6 pt passing TDs then go with Rodgers. However, if it's 4pt passing TDs then go with Rodgers.

The point I bring up is mostly, if you are going to spend a 2nd round pick on a QB, why take another one?

HOLD IT
Rodgers is one of the 3 best qbs in the league and kaepernick is one of the 3 worst
HOLD IT
the league has flagged the unholy hell out of teams for PI and defensive holding, and you can bet Seattle is going to get the business end of that shite stick on opening night
HOLD IT
zac stacy and whoever was running for the bucs had field days against the seattle D...there are running yards to be had, and when you do that with a qb like aaron Rodgers...that's a no brainer
I'm just trying to help. I'm not looking for a prototypical aaron Rodgers performance, but he'll get a couple of TDS and 250-300 yards...I would stay away form GB receivers though
by a country mile Rodgers over kaepernick

quote:I don't get this either. You're projecting 250-300 yards passing with a couple TDs but don't advise starting Jordy or Cobb? Who is he going to throw to?

you drafted him that high, you play him. Sucks you drew a tough matchup...I'm starting lacy, but I'm sitting cobb and jordy in both of my leagues
starting kaepernick is a classic case of overthinking...now the "start your studs" rule isn't universal, but it is in week 1

Preseason means very little. At least attempt to look objective. You have a special type of hate for kap.

And if the preseason was ANY indicator of how good people may be, then San Frans offense is going to be a dumpster fire.
