It will happen. First game, first year starting QB...young WR. All things considered I liked what I saw in the 2nd half. We have tune up games coming up. We'll be a good offense.

We'll be fine. We weren't perfect on Saturday, but we have 3 weeks to work on mistakes and get young guys up to speed before SEC play.

We are a team that doesn't play to our strengths. We have a decent O-line, bad TEs, an athletic QB, great WRs, and RBs that excel in open space. Yet we load the box and pound the ball...

I don't get it

Disagree.

We may be a top 5 team by the end of the year, but top 5 teams don't get treated like a gaggle of bitches for 2.25 quarters of football. Wisky's O line had their way with our defense early on.

I do not know why that was. I don't know if we played a "base" type defense that wasn't cognizant of the fact that they can't throw the ball, or whether our defensive depth finally took over. Others have said Wisky started throwing the ball for some unexplained reason. I disagree. Our defense started stopping the run on early downs, and then they were forced to throw the ball. The fact remains, our D was owned early by their run game.

I'm glad Chavis figured out what to do to fix it, and our offense had just enough in the tank to score enough points to bring home a win.

I agree, those games should be used to practice everything. Let's not hear " The playbook is not open yet" after those games.

I felt like the offense was pretty dumbed down at first. Probably to help Jennings get his nerves out. The three wide receiver sets will be where it's at. Diarse and Dural on the outside with Quinn in the slot.

This. Our second half team definitely has top 5 potential. First half, not so much.

False. Good teams have bad halves of football all the time.

They develope some kind of depth at DT and get steady quality QB play.

Anthony Jennings limits big mistakes and makes a few clutch plays.
