There seems to be a split 6:30 broadcast (being shared with the TAMU game). Any idea on what will actually be shown in Houston? My guess would be the TAMU game.

Comcast/Xfinity in Houston lists the HD channel as 715 the non HD channel as 140 and the alternate as 142.

FWIW - My UVerse channel guide shows "SECAHD" as channel 1608 and "SECBHD" as channel 1609. I assume this is the SEC Network "A" and "B" alternates mentioned above.

Charter cable in Georgia (where I currently live) has the SECN channel 810 and the ALT SECN 811 but both currently list LSU-Sam Houston or Texas A&M-Lamar. I would feel more comfortable if one game were listed on each channel. At least both are HD.

The SECN has an alternate channel one of the games will be shown on. Just like ESPN2 has an alternate channel. No need to worry

There is an extra SEC Network channel that only shows extra games in a case like this. Our game will be on one of the two channels, A&M on the other.

My Comcast/Xfinity line up shows no "alternate" channel. My worries continue...

I read online that the alternate channel should be up this weekend. Being in San Antonio, I'm sure they'll show the a&m game, which I do not care to watch.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't looking for the alt in the SD channel line up. Oh well, no HD probably. But as a friend said, "1st world problems!"
