Virus Question: How to Get rid of?

So background:
I've always used OpenOffice in my PC because it was free as opposed to Microsoft Office.
However, for work they wanted me to get Office because files, presentations, etc were not converting right apparently. I purchased office and had some issues with it downloading so contacted technical support. The tech wanted remote access to my computer to find the problem (not a problem)
The tech fix my Microsoft problem but when I restarted my computer (virus scan runs automatically on start up) I now have a virus called CLMT.EXT on my computer. It says it can not be deleted and I need to go into administrator mode to delete. Now the virus wasn't there before the tech (like I said scan runs on every start up) so did the tech place something in my computer or did he just open a gateway for someone else and how do I delete it?

I don't know what that particular file is, but it could be that your antivirus thinks that whatever he used to connect is a virus even if it isn't.
I've had issues with Norton (which is easily the worst antivirus software in the history of computing) having false positives on some of my work software.
If you can, you should uninstall whatever the tech used to connect. If not google that file, but it's probably not that big of a deal.

just because your A/V says its a virus that does not mean its a virus. How did the tech connect to your computer?
Very possible that A/V could be seeing something associated with what the tech used to connect to your computer. Remote access services can be detected as a backdoor, etc by A/V.

Remote access? I have no clue, Microsoft had a thing pop up on my computer that I had to agree with to connect to him.
