My Roster:

Peyton Manning
Alfred Morris
Ben Tate
Percy Harvin
Torrey Smith
Jason Witten
Ryan Mathews
49ers
Stephen Gostkowski

BENCH
Cam Newton
Justin Hunter
Greg Jennings
Toby Gerhart
Lamar Miller
Terrance West
Steve Smith

The guy I'm looking to trade with has:

Philip Rivers
Doug Martin
Bishop Sankey
Calvin Johnson
Vincent Jackson
Jordan Cameron
Wes Welker
Saints D/ST D/ST
Steven Hauschka

Jeremy Hill
Chris Ivory
DeAngelo Williams
Coby Fleener
Markus Wheaton
Andre Caldwell
Miles Austin

He's in need of one of my starting running backs and I want Vincent Jackson. He said I need to give him one of my WR to replace Jackson, so I was thinking of a 2 for 2 trade.

I was going to give up either Mathews/Gerhart + Torrey Smith for Jackson + Jeremy Hill.

Does that look like a fair trade? Any suggestions on what I should do here?

ETA: 1 PPR league. 6 points for TD.

Why would you give up 2 of your starters in Mathews and Smith for VJax and a 2nd string RB???

Smith has looked pretty good in the preseason. I'd stick with what you have or do it straight up.

I think I'm going to see if he'll go for either mathews or gerhart straight up...I think I might be overvaluing jackson a bit.

He countered with Sankey + Vjack for Morris and T Smith. I think I might take that, what do ya'll think?

ETA: I still think I'd be giving up too much, with a gamble on Sankey as a potential started in a run first offense.

I still think that's a terrible trade. 2 of your starters for a slight upgrade at WR and a 2nd string RB???

VJax is a bit streaky too. One week he will blow up and have 20 points and then the next...barely scratch out 2-3 points

I would stay. Morris may not have as good of numbers because Gruden will throw it a ton but it will still be THE guy and is still very good.

Calling it here. Smith will blow up this year. He will be a top 5 WR

Where did you draft Morris and TSmith and where did he draft VJax and Sankey?

Also, how early did you take the Niners D?

I'd definitely stay with Smith and Morris. Smith and Jackson are pretty much equal, although I like Smith better this year. Morris is way higher than Sankey.
