So there have been nine murders in the fourteen days since Serpas stepped down.
Also, some pretty brazen armed robberies took place today:
McDonalds drive-thru robbed
Woman robbed in CVS parking lot

Way below the peak of 511 in a year during the early 90s. Not acceptable, but much better than it was, even pre-Katrina.

There is no way to "police" to prevent murders.

That's only .6 a day and nothing to worry about.
