New to FF; Quick Question...

From what I read, RB is the most important part of your team. Especially since a TD pass is only worth 4 pts in my league. That being said, a buddy told me if you have a chance to take the top 3 QB's in the first rd, do it. Thoughts? I'm sure this is a dumb question but like I say, I'm totally new to all of this! TIA

It's not a strategy I use, but it's not necessarily a bad one. That said, taking a qb or TE early requires a bit more know-how in the middle rounds to round out your rb/wr corps. For a newbie like you, I would advise you hit wr/rb early and often, getting your starters in the first four rounds.
If you can get ap, McCoy, Charles, forte, or lacy, do it in the first round. If they are gone, consider an elite wr (Johnson, Thomas, Bryant) and then snag a solid rb (ball, Murray, foster) in the second round.

Based on the stat of 4pts per passing TD, I'll add to what Josh said and say wait til the 10th or so and get what will end up being a top 10 QB. It'll be the likes of Big Ben, Wilson, Romo, etc. if it's a 12 team or less league, I'd probably only take 1.
I usually would say take your K with your next to last pick and DEF the pick before. You should be able to get a Tampa Bay or Arizona type DEF then and use them or whatever DEF is playing Jax ea week if they're available

Absolutely. I was surprised he was there in my 10 team draft. I almost threw a little party about it
Anyway, Andre Johnson, Keenan Allen, or even Roddy White would be very nice substitutes.
Honestly, it depends on what pick he has. I was 9 of 10 and played the game accordingly.
ETA: if I wasn't clear, I drafted that team yesterday. It's not a random hypothetical I threw together

14 team Dynasty auction last night took 7 hours (30 man rosters)
Have a budget of 133 mil , just like the real NFL.
