Can you believe the Texans had a real chance to get Peyton Manning when he was looking for a new team and they said "no thanks" to stick with Matt Schaub?

Dumbasses.

Hope the Raiders line does it's job...pretty early putting him in there.

Hope the Raiders don't turn him into Carr 2.0.

He's going to have a lot of growing pains (had a lot of Favre winging it carelessness at Fresno State) but it's still better than same ol' Schaub.

Still pisses me off. Now we've got Fitzpatrick and fricking Ryan Mallet (who I'm still holding out hope on)

It's not like I want to

Maybe Ryan will cut down his xanax intake to only one on game day

The line looked great as the preseason went on, game 4 especially. Hopefully that continues.

I wouldn't worry. O'Brien made Matt McGloin a competent quarterback and that is no small feat

Carr 2.0 would imply that he his a new an improved Carr, which is what people want.

I thought Carr 1.0 would have been a fine QB...the guy was sacked 249 times in 5 seasons with Houston including an NFL record 76 times as a rookie.

By comparisons sake Drew Brees has been sacked 179 times since coming to New Orleans over a 8 year period.

I have looked for the stat and cant find how many times he was hit with the Texans.

Carr 1.0 was lucky to leave Houston with his life. No QB could've excelled then.

David Carr got a bad rap. He could've been pretty good.

Why not Terelle Pryor? You said he was the Oakland franchise qb.

Matt Flynn still has a job.
