Have you ever seen a "Delay of Game" call on a kick off ?

This was probably discussed earlier but I missed it. I can't recall ever seeing this.

no, I've never seen it. I also never thought it was actually possible seeing as I thought there was no play clock on kickoffs...

No, but I've never seen a penalty be so irrelevant for a kickoff either.

The team was late reporting to the field, thus the delay of game.

The 25 second play does run on the kickoffs. The restart it if the ball blows off the tee.

I've been watching football for 40+ years, and I don't recall seeing it called.

Of course, at my age sometimes I can't remember what I saw yesterday.

I thought it was possible that LSU didnt realize TV coverage had started back up soon enough to kick. Whatever it was it was a pretty shite move.

No one in Section 115 recalled ever seeing such a thing before. The Wiscy fans seemed honored to be part of the latest chapter of the legend that is Les Miles.
