We now can tune up all the little things that can be corrected against Sam Houston St and U.L. Monroe before facing Miss St at home. It was a great early test for LSU and now we can grow from it.

The next two games should be full contact practices before being ready for Miss St AT HOME.

This team has shown signs of being really special if they can just tweak a few minor issues to play lights out. This could be a special season.

My thing is will Miles tune up what's needed or will he be hard headed and still try to force the run with 9 men stacked in the box?

I think Miles understands this team is capable of passing, but was reluctant to open up the offense with such a young QB. I honestly believe he will slowly start throwing more and by the time we play Miss St, he will have enough faith in the QBs to not be a run only offense.

After 9 seasons and 1 games I think we already know the answer to this n

That's what bothers me. In the past he saw what needed tunning up and just chose to run run run run us to a 24-3 victory. We need to figure out how to let Jennings get loose and get right the next two weeks. If we have to beat them 60-3 who cares, just get some shite straight.

Why not work hard on the running attack and not show our hand with the air attack?

I for one won't mind a couple of dull wins, if we get LF & Hilliard in a dominant groove

Also, we're still in contention for the playoff. That's the biggest reason for optimism

Then entire offensive playbook needs work. We have to work on the passing game as well in addition to the run. Timing was off, pass blocking wasn't that great, WRs and TEs dropping too many passes, etc.

What you are proposing isn't a great strategy.
