The complete positiger's view from last nights game.

1. Just like he's been doing since 2005, Les Miles demonstrated once again that there is something about him......the way he motivates, the game plan, what players are willing to find when they dig deep down, or maybe just pure dumb luck.....that allows Miles coached teams to win close games.
2. John Chavis again demonstrated that he's as good at making halftime adjustments as any coach in the business. It amazes me how many times in his relatively short LSU tenure that his defenses have looked like completely different units in a second half compared to the first.
3. Anthony Jennings showed marked improvement from his last start. In the second half of last nights game, he threw the ball like a seasoned veteran. Much of that has to do with.......
4. Can Cameron.......God folks, we are some kinda lucky to have this guy. The longer he's at LSU, the better our offenses will be. Perhaps his greatest attribute is utilizing particular/current skill sets. He's definitely a believer in "know thyself".
5. It was GREAT to see Kenny Hilliard have a big game. Always makes you feel good to see a kid stick around, and get rewarded for it.
6. Can we say enough good thing about our young receivers? Diarse DOES remind me of one Jarvis Landy, Dural can apparently fly, as he was behind folks all night, and Quinn was where he was supposed to be in a deep ball, and looked like an absolute nafural on the pitch and catch 2 point conversion.
7. Despite pedestrian stars, Leonard Fournette looked like a man last night. A strong one.
8. While Wiscaaaahhhhnsins passing game will never be confused w/.Texas Tech's, our DB's looked incredible. Saw tons of great technique last night. They couldn't have played any better.
Bottom line? Team is young, and they have some maturing and growing to do. That said, these young stars to be stared down a 17 point deficit to a very good team, late in a game, and figured out what they had to do to win. Hats off to everyone from to les miles to the water boy.

Taking out the FB and spreading them out was money
Going all man on the outside and crowding the LOS shut down their run game
CD was clutch at PK
great win

Agreed. The DBs played a great game. Excellent coverage. The passes that were completed were beautiful throws. Our guys were always in position. Knocked away several. Our secondary guys are all warriors.

Just the fact that our young team managed to overcome a17 point deficit to a ranked team and come out victorious tells .e everything I need to know.
Think about how young this team is.
Think about how good Wisconsin is perceived to be. Talking heads are already elimination the Big 10 from the playoff because of that game. (Overreaction of course, but the point is made nonetheless. Wisconsin is a good team.)

You say this and it reminded me that Chavis did the exact same thing to LSU in 2005.
