1. When's the last time any college football coach followed a coach who won a mnc and had half the success lm has had, and
2. When's the last time (if ever) lsu had a black kicker?

1.) Jimbo Fisher has 1 national championship which is half of Bobby Bowden, the coach he followed.
Malzahn seems to be on his way to having more success than the national championship coach that he replaced.

Jimbo, de and jj. Cum and malzahn still have no titles in that role, so I don't count them. Puts clm in pretty good company.

In the early 80's, LSU had a black punter named James Wagner...he was pretty good. I am not sure if he ever place-kicked.
