It borders at least three parishes, so I guess they all can claim parts of it.

I thought maybe St Tammany too. Google maps doesn't show that though.

6 parishes even though people from St. Tammany and Jefferson like to think they are the only ones.

St. Charles, St. John, St. Tammany, Jefferson, Tangipahoa and Orleans.

The State has some jurisdiction over the Lake bottoms. Ask the folks who used to dredge clam shells. As with errything else in Louisiana there is the opportunity for several layers of administration to peel off some tribute.

I miss those, they used to make for some good driveway material.

The best parish of them all. We cut that shitty St. Martin Parish in half.
