Anyone think Hilliard goes for 1000+ yards this season

I was actually impressed by Hilliard last night, haven't seen that side of him since 2011, anyone I say he rushes for 1000+

I don't know if he will get enough carries. He played very well last night but our offense puts the ball in the hot hand regardless of who it is.

Every game is different and every game we have a new "Hot Back". It has been this way for years. We just need to find out who it is at the start of the game and ride that horse.

i think if any one of our three running backs gets 180+ carries he will run for 1000+ yards

I agree, don't get me wrong I'm all about rotating the backs to keep em fresh, but if one is having a good game then ride him out and let him produce

Don't be so quick to discount buga. I think he can improve drastically and could be a Hilliard Buga tag team back field. I though buga tried to do to much last night. It reminded me of when Reggie bush started in the NFL and tried to break every run for a TD. I thought buga picked the wrong holes a couple of times on runs and kickoffs. The defense keyed on him and the line didn't block very well most of the plays he was running.

With all the hype regarding Buga - they were completely keyed up for him. We may see some teams fall asleep on him. That would great.

I hope he does. Kid deserves it. Seems like he worked really hard to get the start on Saturday and to be the GUY at LSU this season.

Hilliard doesn't sniff 70 yards in that game if they don't have DL injuries. no fricking way he gets 1000 yards. I'd be surprised if he goes over 500.
