Out of Bama, UCLA and FSU, who should "worry" the most based on Week 1?

It's only week 1, but if I had to compare the three teams, I'd be really worried if I were an FSU fan. I think yesterday's game plus Georgia's blowout on Clemson just shows how weak the ACC is. The sad thing is FSU's regular season schedule is now just against cupcakes.

While Alabama's win yesterday was not that impressive either, I believe they will get better as the season goes on.

UCLA's win was not that good but it's pretty hard for a West Coast team to play that early, so they definitely weren't at their best.

Although FSU will most likely make it into the playoff, I just don't see them repeating.

Bama is a 5 loss team and shouldnt be ranked in the top 10 after that abysmal week 1 performance

Did you watch the game though? The final score was not indicative of the game at all. That game was tight for 90% of the time. Georgia exploded at the end.

Bama actually could have lost. West Virginia dropped a ton of balls.

Bama is in a division with two of the better HUNH offenses in the country, so that should concern them slightly.

UCLA is in trouble, that offensive line sucks.

FSU won't play a team with a pulse until the playoff, so they're fine until then.

I said this over the summer on this board, and was laughed at.

UF will have a pulse.

I did not watch the Georgia/Clemson game. Regardless, I don't view Clemson as a really good team.

I'd pick UCLA. As far as FSU goes, OSU is pretty good and Gundy is a hell of a coach (doesn't get the credit he deserves), and usually has a good game plan.

West Virginia is going to be good this year, and Holgs through every thing he had at them. Not to concerned with UA, they have the talent and coaching to win their league.

UCLA didn't look good at all and Virginia is terrible.

UCLA will lose at least 2-3 games just because they aren't that good.

Bama looks merely mortal for the first time in a long time. I still think they have a solid team but their schedule could trip them up.

FSU will probably be fine because of their schedule. But any kind of injury to Winston or Rashad Greene could hurt their season because their running game is no good and they lost some key playmakers and Pruitt on defense from last year.

UVAs defense is actual pretty damn good. We just don't have an offense to match.

But you're right. UCLA should have demolished us. We were 2-10 last year.

I'm not following the logic on FSU and Clemson. So why do two close games with ACC teams indicate conference weakness while other get a pass?

I hope so. I have to admit I was thinking about the ACC and forgetting the out of conference match-up.

Do you think a close loss to the Gators would keep them out if that was their only blemish?

I think the PAC 12 will come down to Oregon/Stanford, although the problem with Stanford this season is a lot of their games against good teams are on the road(Oregon, UCLA, Washington, ASU). All those games against those 4 teams mentioned above were played at Palo Alto last year. The two regular season losses Stanford had last year were against Utah and USC(both unranked at the time) on the road.

Lol, of course it depends on how the other many contenders look.

The ACC had a pretty poor showing yesterday. Syracuse, wake, UNC, NC State, and GT all looked crappy.
