Does the height of our OL impair Jennings at all?

I couldn't help but notice on a few plays that he looked like he couldn't see down the field, and panicked. Kind of noticed his head raise up as if he was having trouble seeing.

Now most would say that he simply locked in on his first progression, then bailed if he wasn't open. I think this is a legit gripe too.

But across the board we have 6'6" guys including a taller then usual interior line, which is a nightmare for a QB that is about 6' & trying to throw to the middle of the field.

Is this a legitimate concern going forward, or was Jennings' struggle non related to that?

He needs to learn the Brees tippy toes move.

I saw it on the screen plays. I didn't really notice it when he stepped back, but it could explain why he felt the need to roll out so much.

Probably so but he can do things to combat that. One thing Jennings really needs to work on is his footwork in the pocket and awareness of when and where to step up into it. I think he will once he gets more comfortable out there.

Go ask Drew Brees on how he does it and while talking him with work on screen plays too.

Jennings reminds of former Saints QB Jeff Blake. He throws a nice deep pass that drops in easily over CB to Dural, Diarse, Quinn etc.

Brees is a master at it. No doubt

However our interior guys have anywhere from 2"-4" on the Saints interior lineman

Anyone who dismisses this outright has never played quarterback behind a tall offensive line. I recall Steve Young saying he threw to a spot very often without being able to see the receiver over the line.

Yeah, timing and trusting the play takes a lot of maturity and skill. Maybe that's too much to expect of Jennings right now.

I don't know if it's worth worrying about if there is no solution.

Yes. He has to learn and adjust to using passing lanes. It'll come with experience. He's doing a pretty good job at it already and he excels when rolling out imo.
