Can ESPN let go of the Michael Sam bullshite?

He is the defending SEC defensive player of the year and it's "news" that he made the Rams cut yesterday? He's obviously a good football player. We know he's gay. Can they just move on? How long are they going to cover his every fricking move?

It's going to be just like the non-stop Tebow crap the media created. Eventually, if Michael Sam isn't a starter, his team may eventually cut ties so they don't have to keep putting up with a continuous media circus because of a 2nd or 3rd string player.

I have nothing against Sam, but I almost want to see him get cut just to witness the epic ESPN melt.
