With the numbers at DT continuing to shrink even today, who do you think might do a little cross-training tomorrow? Wisconsin doesn't seem like the kind of team that Chief can break out the Mustang package on too often, so I don't expect to see 4 ends out there at once. But we do have more numbers and experience there. Who is the best fit for some spot duty?

We've lost one DT. QT will still play. And everyone is freaking out about Bain, but he was fourth or fifth on the depth chart. We've still got 6 guys at DT. We will be fine. Same with WR and CB.

We still have Gilmore and Godchaux as backups. There is a chance that Thomas plays. Neal has played some DT but I think that was for the Mustang package. Our biggest concern has become bigger with less than 24 hours. We really need to jump on Wisky fast and often to force then to pass the ball more.

Not sure on the DE's unless you consider Herron and Goudchaux DE's at this point. But looks like they are next in the DT rotation behind QT and LaCouture.

I really hope the DTs completely destroy Wisconsin so we can put all this talk to rest. How many 4 and 5 star DTs are on this roster?

Neal cross trained at DT this offseason and spring. We
Will be fine on the d-line as long as our defensive ends
Keep runs going inside. Look for beckwith and kwon to have a lot of stops

All true. I'm not freaking out. Just curious.

As for the talent, it is obviously there. It's just the youth factor that makes me raise an eyebrow. This should be a very physical game, and we all know the coaches will have to rotate to keep these younger guys fresh late in the game. This will either be the first action, or first significant action, for a few of them.

Looking at the depth chart, Neal is about the only guy with enough size to hang in the middle, if they need a few downs here or there.

Neal is giving up at least 40-50 lbs to every DT except Herron.

True. He's still the biggest on the 4 deep at end. If they did use him, I'm sure it would just be a few plays in obvious passing situations.
