DIY Truck Bed Coating

A buddy of mine gave me a 'new to me' toolbox. The paint was a little dingy, so i picked up some Rustoleum truck bed coating from Autozone and went to town. I think it turned out great.
Now i have the itch to try it on my bed. Anyone have experience with using this? I definitely dont want to screw my truck up, but part of me says, 'how hard can it be?'
Will it stick well if applied straight to the paint?

I coated the bed of our John Deer Gator with Iron Armor Truck Bed Coating from Harbor Freight. You can get it in the spray can or by the gallon.

Sand it with 180 grit first.
Is this a 1K product, or did you mix it with a hardener?
The cheap 1K products will fade to gray in a few years, and are NOT chemical resistant (gas, oil, etc.)
If you have an air compressor, I'd recommend UPOL's Raptor bedliner for around $150. I've had it in my truck bed since 2003, and it still holds up fine.
