Per Business insider.

LINK

My favorite part...

quote:

Besides requiring billions in debt forgiveness payments to delinquent borrowers in Cleveland, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Oakland, Detroit, Chicago and other Democrat strongholds — and up to $500 million to cover personal taxes owed on those checks — the deal requires BofA to make billions in new loans, while also building affordable low-income rental housing in those areas.

This may be Germans as F... It doesn't matter, we should have 30 more threads on this.

It is a shakedown the same kind of shakedown that led to the housing bubble.

Without an honest free press this is what you get.

How does what Holder did relate in any way to Halliburton?

He is saying that Halliburton orchestrated the Iraq War and profited with hundreds of billions of dollars. $17 Bil is a drop in the bucket to Halliburton.

He isn't totally wrong. The Iraq War was a set up from a lot of different sources. Still, two wrongs don't make a right.

I guess that "Hope and Change" simply meant that the Left was going to get the money now. Thanks, Obama.

Link?

If Halliburton did what you (obliquely - without proof) say it did, it is still not the same. They did not use the power of the US government to commit extortion against a private corporation to fund election efforts/provide kickbacks. Disgusting. This is the stuff of Third World dictators.

Wow - this statement and thread kinda reinfornce mainstream perceptions of each party.

Democrats (known for handouts and entitlements)in the BOA deal, forgive billions in debts/taxes to lower income ppl

Republicans - (known for catering to wealthy/big business) orchestrate Halliburton/Iraq to do just that.

It is easy to be generous with other people's money. It was not their money to give nor debt to forgive.

Don't just say it, prove it.

(and I hate the war we fought in Iraq - a complete waste)
