I know Cam loves the kid but I need to film this year to buy into this take. At his school and having been seen at our camps, what is everyone missing that Cam isn't? Recruiting services miss but they get things right a lot too. No way they have completely missed the boat on this kid especially with Lodge on his team. I'm rooting for the kid and will support him regardless but, as of now, we could've done better

McMillan will provide much needed depth while we wait for the juggernaut duo of Feleipe Franks and Shea Patterson to arrive. Who knows? Maybe the kid gets to BR and wins himself a starting job. Crazier shite has happened.

IMO, a horribly underrated guy....LSU's most underrated at this point. Have watched several minutes of highlights (yes these are highlights just like everyone else's), looks fine to me. Also, his school Cedar Hill won the TX championship last year in the highest classification. And he was the QB who threw to Lodge last season. Low 3* is a joke...minimum 4* caliber QB.

Then he is going to be an EE. Good move. There may be a lot of opportunity next year.

Does that mean he is going to enroll early? Hands down could be the most underrated recruit in the class and the biggest steal

lsufanva used to bring a ton of good information to this board. He still brings good information, but the quantity has diminished.

I tend to trust what lsufanva brings . . . except when it comes to his personal QB evaluations. And, unfortunately, his post was his personal evaluation of a QB, so I don't put much faith in it.

Nevertheless, I do care what lsufanva thinks . . . except when it comes to evaluating QBs.

lsufanva - keep up the good work.

We don't need better. We need a depth guy who sticks around and can play if injuries occur. Getting a bunch of 4-5 stars who transfer when they don't win the job as freshman is why we don't have depth now.

Good point on the transfer aspect...see Alabama's QB losses for example the last few years. Watch the same thing happen at A&M soon. Like I said above, IMO he is way underrrated...Rivals has him 2*. I would say 4* and by their number scale, I'm talking medium 4*, a 5.9. For those who talk about taking services interest or teams interest to heart for QBs, that is funny. Drew Brees best offer was Purdue. On the other end, how did Gunner Kiel work out...Ron Powlus...Dwayne Crist...Jake Heaps and countless other highly, highly rated QBs who have done squat in college. I'll trust my own eyes on McMillan and knowing he played against the best competition in Texas and won a state championship throwing a lot of passes.

with teams moving to spread, he will provide the team with a good scout qb to go against day in and day out.
