Im bored here at work and thought i would share a few pics from the camera i pulled last week. Im sorry the quality sucks but i was taking a picture of the picture with my phone from the tablet lol. I wasnt getting a lot of pics until last week when i started dumping the pears out. My grandmothers tree literally has close to 1000 pears on it. The deer love them every year. All these pictures are on a 10 acre spot behind my house. I know they are not monsters but not bad in south mississippi for 10 acres. Bow season cant get here soon enough

here is the pear tree

I would have waited till next year before I took a picture.

Just kidding

We had two pear trees right outside our barn door in south MS as a kid and the deer would still tear them up. We never had any big ones though

as far as cameras go here is what i have used

cuddeback-great camera, but expensive
wildgame innovations-great cameras for a yr, then broke "but good customer service.

now running 2 seperate bushnell cameras. They are small and take 8 aa batteries. Been my best value for the price so far.

Yes dont get flash. Get infared or black flash. Ive always ran infared with no issues, blackflash is the new fad.

no experience with browning

these are the 2 ive been running the past 2 years that i love.

Pretty sweet deal for the backyard. Do deer eat the small canning pears? My uncle has a tree that at least 75% get wasted every year.

I've gotten really into raising soft mast trees for deer in the past few years. I've got about 8 varieties of pear trees planted at my farm in SW Mississippi. These are 4-5 year old trees and this year they produced 5-20 pears each (this is their first or second year in the ground depending on the tree).
