BOO frickING HOO

change your fricking business model. nobody is buying newspapers, DVDs, film or typewriters anymore either.

sorry pandora, spotify & google music stole your cash cow.

i'd like to feel sorry for a bunch of fat cat music executives living in L.A. or Nashville..but..but..

nah, can't do it. no tears.

Album sales hit a new low..THE HORROR

quote:

This year, label executives finally conceded something there were reluctant to acknowledge last year: Streaming is cannibalizing digital sales.

in other news, people own computers.

Because they never changed their strategy when Spotify came in a wrecked their shite. Why pay for Pandora when Spotify is doing the same thing better? I can't tell you the last album I've pirated all because I pay for Spotify. It's just easy as hell.

I pay for the songs that I really like because I don't mind kicking a dollar per song to someone that has overcome one-in-a-million odds of ever making a decent living from their intellectual property.

No way. Spotify's radio stations are absolute garbage compared to Pandora's.

I rejoice at this the way i rejoiced when napster came out. This forces musicians to make money the old fashion way...concerts. Then people will see all the auto-tuned, computer-made artists for what they are. Fake and truly untalented.

you realize the artist makes 8 cents off every 99 cent itunes song right?

you'd do a better job sending them $1 via paypal and listening to the track on youtube

the point is the same. the labels are making the money, not the artists.

this is why most artists are independent these days.

labels = dinosaurs

eta correction

labels = mean dinosaurs

With Amazon Prime music, can you download songs for offline playing like Spotify?

How is their music selection in comparison to Spotify?
