Looking to make a trip around Thanksgiving this year. We would potentially want to do the non-guided hunt. Any info would be appreciated. Also looking to do a late season conservation goose hunt if anyone has any suggestions on that. TIA

November is usually hit or miss in Arkie. Actually more miss. Most areas still don't have water. Better time to go is late Dec and Jan.

Don't know of any non-guided outfitters. We have gone to Bust A Duck the last few years.

Any success at Bust a Duck? I almost booked a trip this year but ended up having to cancel...

We did ok last year late Dec. Hunted fields 2 days and killed 15-20/day but they got a monsoon right before we got there and the birds were real scattered. Hit the woods on the last day and it was painful slow. Only killed 4 Mallards and a Woodrow. They usually do much better. Lodging is great. Guides are real good.

My experience shows early to mid december to be the best in arkansas. Thats only 2 years of hunting so take it for what its worth.
