Went from 4.5 to 5 this morning hope it keeps going up to around 7

Lines always move based on either news coming out about starters/injuries/suspensions, etc. OR, and most likely, where the money is being dumped.
So, if everyone was loading up on LSU -3, the line will creep more towards LSU's side to make it more difficult to decide on LSU for bets. It's how Vegas buffers winnings no matter who wins.

The "line" on a game is Vegas' way of getting people to move money where they need. Nothing has changed.

been at 5 for a while...some books have it at 5.5
most of the Thursday lines have moved significantly
temple opened +17 right now they're +13.5
ole miss moved from -9.5 to -10.5
they move depending on where the money is...moving past numbers like 10 and 14 usually means significant action
